Ingredients

  • 10 ice cubes
  • 5 tsp instant coffee
  • 5 Tbsp hot water (for dissolving coffee; let cool)
  • 1 cup cold milk
  • 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • Whipped cream, to top
  • Caramel sauce, to drizzle

Instructions

  1. In a small cup, mix 5 tsp instant coffee with 5 Tbsp hot water until dissolved. Let the coffee mixture cool to room temperature.
  2. Add 10 ice cubes to a blender and pour in the cooled coffee mixture. Blend until the ice is crushed.
  3. Add 1 cup milk and blend briefly (about 5–10 seconds).
  4. Add 3 scoops vanilla ice cream and blend briefly again until just smooth and thick.
  5. Pour into a chilled glass (or two smaller glasses). Top with whipped cream and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce. Serve immediately.

Tips

  • For a thicker shake, add an extra scoop of ice cream; for a thinner shake, add a splash more milk.
  • Want it sweeter? Add 1–2 tsp sugar or caramel to the blender.
