Ingredients
- 250 g chicken breast, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 canned peach, diced
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tbsp ketjap (sweet soy sauce)
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 70 g tomato paste (1 small can)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, a splash
- 150 g basmati rice
Instructions
- Cook the basmati rice according to package instructions.
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in both peppers and cook a few minutes.
- Add tomato paste, paprika powder, honey, ketjap, peach, salt and pepper. Mix well and simmer briefly.
- Serve the chicken mixture over the rice.
